UTE-DAIA Project
The Thermal Power Plant of Anápolis – UTE-DAIA, is located at the Agroindustrial District of Anápolis, state of Goiás. It takes up a 40.000m² area, with production capability of 44,3MW of electricity made available to the National Interconnected System. Based on an agreement signed in 2002 among ENGEBRA, the Brazilian Trader of Emergency Energy – CBEE and the Energetic Company of Goiás – CELG, UTE-DAIA began its activities in january 2003. From november 2002 to december 2005 ENGEBRA obtained, through UTE-DAIA, a contract of emergency electric energy supply with CBEE. Through the 1st Auction of New Electricity, in december 2005, ENGEBRA traded an average of 19MW to 27 Electric Power Concessionary Companies, by the signing of Trading Contracts of Energy in a Regulated Environment, promoted by ANEEL and perfomed by the Brazilian Trader of Emergency Energy – CBEE. The beginning of the delivery is predicted to be january, 2008, continuing until december, 2022.
